"Animal Welfare Week" is a period designated by the Ministry of the Environment, from September 20th to September 26th every year, to encourage everyone to foster a sense of cherishing animals.
-
When?: September 20th to 26th every year
-
Why?: To raise awareness and encourage people to think about the importance of caring for animals and proper pet ownership.
-
What happens?: The national and local governments, along with animal-related organizations, cooperate to hold lectures, events, and animal interaction experiences across the country.
During this period, various initiatives are undertaken to build better relationships between people and animals, not just by playing with animals, but also by considering how animals can live happily and how to prepare for disasters.
It is established with the aim that both those who own pets and those who don't will take this opportunity to reflect on "living animals."
We hope this period will encourage each and every one of us to think about cats and animals more than usual.
The aoneco project will continue its activities to rescue as many cats as possible.
Approximately 10% of your purchase will be donated to aoneco's partner cat rescue organizations.
