October activity report and thank you for your donations to NPO Animal Welfare Organization "LYSTA", aoneco's charity!
We received a report on the cats in October 2025 from Ms. Suzuki, representative of the NPO "LYSTA" in Fukushima Prefecture.
October Activity Report
76 cats underwent mass spaying/neutering in October.
In October, we continued to take in injured cats from public health centers.
Saki-chan is a friendly cat!

Saki-chan had fractured her pelvis and leg some time ago.
Since the bones had set in a fractured state, it was not possible to reset them.
She can excrete and walk, but it seems she is in pain due to the severe nature of the fracture.
We are monitoring her condition, also considering the possibility of amputation.
Runrun, who had hind limb paralysis, can now walk!

Runrun had hind limb paralysis and seemed to be dazed, perhaps due to brain damage from some kind of impact.
Two weeks later, she was able to walk, and it was a joy to see her become active like a kitten.
There were also some cats we couldn't save.
Uki-chan and Pota-chan were likely admitted to the public health center due to traffic accidents. We immediately took them in and provided all possible treatment.
We prayed for their recovery, wished we could save them... but our prayers were not answered.
However, we value letting them spend their last moments cherished in our hands, rather than dying unknown in a grassy field or rain-soaked, in despair and fear.
Senior cats Noa-chan, Leo-kun, and Pina-chan are also recovering!

We also took in senior cats Noa-chan, Leo-kun, and Pina-chan, who were admitted after their owner passed away.
They are undergoing treatment for diarrhea, decreased appetite, and mouth pain, and are recovering well.
