We received a report on the cats for August 2025.

August Activity Report

76 cats underwent TNR spay/neuter surgeries.
The cats from the multi-cat household that came in this time were difficult to catch, and it took a week to complete all of them.

We took in two kittens from the public health center.

"Oheso-kun" who needs surgery

Of the two kittens taken from the public health center, "Oheso-kun" was taken in due to an umbilical hernia and intra-abdominal cryptorchidism.

He will undergo an umbilical hernia repair surgery along with castration.

"Pokori-chan," skinny with a protruding belly

The other cat, "Pokori-chan," was admitted to the public health center in an emaciated state.
She was taken in because of diarrhea, wheezing, hair loss, and a daily growing abdominal distension, raising concerns about her health.

Due to her extreme thinness, she initially looked like an unknown animal, not a cat.

The worrying abdominal distension was due to her being rescued in a state of starvation and eating ravenously at the public health center, but she has now completely regained a kitten-like physique.

They are so adorable!

LYSTA protects a total of approximately 170 dogs and cats.
Food that cannot be covered by donated supplies costs about 100,000 yen per month.
